Principal’s Message

Hey Holden Families!

Happy October! It is hard to believe we are already moving into another month of the school year. The first several weeks have been filled with learning, building relationships, and creating routines that will help our students have a successful year. I am proud of the way our students have settled in and continue to show respect, responsibility, and safety throughout our school each day.

October is always an exciting month at Holden! As we move further into the fall, our classrooms are busy with meaningful learning, new challenges, and opportunities for students to grow. We also have plenty of fun activities and special events ahead. Please continue to check our school communications for important dates, reminders, and information about everything happening at Holden.

As we continue through the school year, regular attendance and arriving at school on time are incredibly important. Every day provides opportunities for students to learn, connect with their teachers and classmates, and build upon the skills they learned the day before. Thank you for helping establish routines at home that support your child's success at school.

I also want to thank our families for your continued partnership and support. A strong connection between home and school makes a tremendous difference for our students. Whether you are attending an event, reading our school updates, helping with learning at home, or simply asking your child about their day, your involvement matters.

I am excited for another great month at Holden Elementary. October brings cooler weather, colorful leaves, and plenty of opportunities to learn and have fun together. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. Here's to a fantastic October!
